How is my current domain, site, and email transitioned to my new RisingLine Web 2.0 site Email or bookmark this page

If you have a question not answered here don't hesitate to ask us.

Congratulations! If you're reading this chances are you've just decided to upgrade your Web presence to a Web 2.0 solution from RisingLine!

Relax, we take care of all the technical changes necessary to transition your current site. But we do need just a little help from you to start:

  1. We need you to set up and establish a payment plan for your new WebSite 2.0 monthly service and hosting account.
  • Just go to http://risinglineweb.com, mouse over "Web Hosting" on the top menu, then select "Hosting Plans", from the drop down menu.
  • Select the plan you would like, the frequency you would like to pay, then add it to the shopping card and proceed to the checkout.
  • You'll need to provide us the user-id and password you established for your account so we have access to your server space. Please call your project manager with the info or submit it to us via email or our online form (after we complete the setup you can change your password).
  1. We need the web address, your user id/password for your current domain register. The domain register is the company with whom you've registered as the legal owner of your domain name. This may be, but is not necessarily the same company that you are currently paying to host your Web site.
  1. Please provide your project manager a list of all the email addresses that are currently being used with your domain name.
  2. Please provide us with the current company name, user id and password for your current hosting provider. We will make a full backup of your old site and transfer it to your new server space for temporary access while your new dynamic site is being set up. We'll let you know when it's safe to cancel your old hosting account.
