RisingLine's principals

Douglas Case is the founder and managing director of RisingLine. Prior to RisingLine, Douglas spent 15 years in consumer, corporate and government technical sales, primarily with MicronPC. His previous positions  include sales manager, Air Force account executive, and Federal channel account executive. Douglas’ tenure in the corporate IT marketplace was marked with consistent success in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, including his contribution to MicronPC’s award and performance on the Air Force $1 billion Desktop 5, and IT-BPA contracts.

Douglas' experience in software development and design began with a Commodore 128 in the mid 80's and he has personally designed and developed countless Web sites and applications over the years.

Douglas received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, graduating magna cum laude with presidential honors, from Lewis-Clark State.

Mr. Case is actively involved with volunteer work for various charitable organizations and has a passion for abandoned and orphaned children domestically and abroad. He and his wife Gena reside in Boise, ID with their three sons.

Marika & Erik Jon Warila

Erik Jon Warila is a marketing and strategic communications professional with extensive business-to-business and direct-to-consumer experience. After building his portfolio as an independent marketing consultant, Erik joined RisingLine in 2006 as a principal owner and Chief Marketing Officer.

Prior to his consultancy, Erik was a key influencer in the marketing department of the J.R. Simplot Company, a 3 billion dollar agribusiness concern, where he spearheaded efforts to standardize the branding strategies within key market channels around the globe. Additionally, he worked on numerous co-branding campaigns with major agricultural companies such as Bayer, BASF, Monsanto, and Syngenta.

Erik has created, published and distributed more than 2,000 unique advertisements, direct mailers, product catalogs, and other marketing materials while coordinating comprehensive strategic marketing campaigns. He has also provided advertising and Web development services for two high-tech companies, Integra Information Technologies and RVP Business Systems, both located in Boise, Idaho.

In regards to his portfolio, Erik offers extensive experience in working within the agricultural, golf, sports entertainment, software, telecommunications, and medical industries. He is also a Cum Laude honor graduate of Northwest Nazarene University where he earned a BBS in Business Administration in addition to an MBA. Finally, Erik is a man humbly devoted to his Christian faith and his family.
