Doug is a true professional. His company, RisingLine, is a fantastic company that we recommend to everyone we come in contact with. They respond to our requests immediately. Their customer service will exceed your expectations!

Our company began in 2004. Through the marketing efforts of RisingLine we are now the FIRST company that shows up in all internet search engines. Our site is visible and has become the marketing tool we'd hoped it would be.

Background

Rylex Consulting focuses on providing information technology contract services, and secondarily, information technology hardware to the Department of Defense and other government clients.

They came to us because their Website was lacking in content, focused primarily on their less important hardware offerings, did not communicate their unique value proposition, and was missing a strategy to entice their visitors to the next step of the sales cycle.

"When we contacted Rising Line. We were refreshingly surprised and our spirits were buoyed by the confidence the company projected. They treated us respectfully, and didn’t laugh at the questions we asked....our website now provides an added confidence to our customers. They can see that as a company, we’ve invested money into our communication and support web infrastructure."

Services we provided:

  • Site Indexing - search

Through our strategy sessions, we achieved a clear understanding of Rylex's unique value proposition, goals, and target visitors. To meet their goals we developed a new site around the principles of:

  • Communicating Rylex's Unique Value Proposition (UVP) as an intrinsic feature of their site. We emphasized their UVP of quality technical solutions and service for government clients throughout the site, and also through supporting elements such as the site's section 508 compliance.

While Rylex's UVP was quality technical service, their former site eroded this message by not properly reflecting their professionalism and capabilities.

  • Focusing on people instead of things. This was especially important as Rylex's unique value was service based. Primary photos were changed from equipment to people, and we emphasized the high value Rylex places on customer service through messaging and other strategic elements such as the prominent front page display of an online communication form.
  • Connecting personally with their clients. It turned out that Rylex had very specific target visitors: Air Force technical and financial decision makers. We built the site theme around this target visitor and to reflect the patriotic culture of the company's owners and customers.
  • Providing relevant and accessible content. Rylex's original site provided nominal information on just one aspect of their company: hardware. We helped Rylex develop an emphasis on their contracted services and provided additional information on all their solutions as well as online support resources, including a seamlessly integrated blog and optimized RSS broadcast.
  • Feature, usability, and code validation. We developed their site using advanced features like DHTML dropdown navigation, full site search capabilities, and interactive feedback forms (http://rylex.com/contact.php) Link opens in new window
