Why we're built the way we are

Most website problems live in the gaps: a builder who's moved on, a host responsible only for servers, and an owner stuck in the middle. Risingline is organized so those gaps don't exist. One team designs the site, runs it, and answers for it. When something breaks, you make one call. Nobody passes the blame because there's nobody to pass it to.

We arrived at this model honestly. We started building websites and designing brands in 2006. Over the years, we produced thousands of marketing pieces across digital and print for businesses throughout North America. The work taught us what holds up and what doesn't. It also taught us a few things about how clients get let down by the industry. So we run on some beliefs:

• Tell it like it is. If we think you're making a mistake, we say so.
• Find the best solution, even if that means referring you to a more specialized firm.
• Cut through the mystery and jargon. Plain language, always.
• Be here for the long run, not just the project.

We still design every site we run. What's changed is that the design now comes with the full infrastructure, security, accessibility, and ongoing care, for as long as a client stays. We don't sell graphic design as a standalone service anymore. The design is part of the managed engagement, and the team that builds the site is the team that answers for it, years later.
